Richard Archer: Chairman
Richard was founder of
The Automation Partnership, leading the company as CEO until 2005. He
has extensive experience in developing and marketing novel cell culture
technologies and has worked with many of the early entrants into the
tissue engineering arena, particularly across the USA. He regularly
consults for both venture capital organisations and early stage
lifescience companies.
Nicholas Sleep: CEO
Nicholas has been working in the
lifescience industry for more than ten years. He was previously VP
business development at Procognia. Before that, he ran the informatics
business unit at The Automation Partnership. He holds an MBA from
Cranfield University and a MEng from UMIST.
Professor Alicia El Haj: Director
Alicia is internationally
renowned in the field of tissue engineering with over 18 years of
experience and more than 60 peer-reviewed publications. She is the Head
of the Centre for Science and Technology in Medicine and is also Research
Dean at Keele University’s Medical School.

Professor Jon Dobson: Director
Jon is professor of
biophysics and biomedical engineering at the Keele Institute for Science
& Technology in Medicine. He holds a Royal Society-Wolfson
Foundation Research Merit Award and has recently been invited
to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is on the editorial board on
many publications and has published over 110 peer-reviewed

Roy Eady: Director
Roy previously held a
number of VP roles at AstraZenca, ending as VP of Portfolio Management.
Roy is now CEO of Synovis Ltd, on the Board of BioCity and a Director
of MedilinkEM Limited. Roy has extensive line and project management
experience particularly in the fields of immunological and inflammatory
diseases and is currently advising a number of Biotech companies on
projects in late Discovery and Early Development.
Stefan Ogrodzinski: Director
Stefan
is founder and CEO of Biostatus
Limited. He is also Chairman of Medilink East Midlands, a member of the
third mission committee at the Cardiff
Institute of Tissue Engineering and Repair (CITER) , a former
co-director of the UK Human Tissue
Bank and Senior Partner at Ogrodzinski Consultants
